A whole day in Giethoorn ending with a delightful cooking workshop. You start with a nice cup of coffee or tea followed by a boat tour through Giethoorn. Then explore the surroundings with a beautiful bike ride. Afterwards, we start the cooking workshop and you prepare your own dishes on fire.

PROGRAM
10:00 AM – Coffee/tea with something tasty
This wonderful outdoor day starts with coffee/tea and a treat. In our cozy restaurant about 300 meters from the historic village center and near a large parking lot. Here you will also receive a packed lunch.
10:45 AM – Giethoorn boat tour
Discover Giethoorn and surroundings from the water. A 1-hour boat tour, accompanied by a skipper and guide, through the historic village center of charming Giethoorn with its thatched roofs, narrow canals, and high bridges.
11:45 AM – Bike ride
The bikes are ready for a beautiful ride in the area. Various cycling routes are available, but you can also make use of, for example, the ANWB Cycling Node Planner.
3:30 PM – Cooking workshop including 4-course dinner
An adventure-filled and delicious outdoor cooking workshop. The workshop is given in a fun, accessible, and hospitable way. Your view is partly passing boats and partly the National Park Weerribben – Wieden.
The focus of this approximately four-hour cooking workshop is cooking with Dutch Ovens. You will get to know different types of cast iron pots and learn the technique of cooking on wood fire and briquettes.
In groups, you will prepare a delicious meal. Each group cooks one or two dishes so that we end up with a complete menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. We end the cooking workshop around 7:00 PM with coffee, tea, and cake from the fire.
The cooking workshop includes coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
