15:30 – Cooking workshop with beer tasting
Taste the region's flavor-makers when it comes to specialty beers! During this cooking workshop you won't just cook with beer but will mainly taste the specialty beers from the area
The Beer & Outdoor Cooking workshop is held outdoors in a fun, accessible and hospitable way in Giethoorn. Your view is passing boats and the Weerribben – Wieden National Park.
The focus of this roughly four-hour cooking workshop is on cooking withDutch Ovens. You will get to know different types of cast-iron pans and learn the technique of cooking over a wood fire and with briquettes. During the cooking workshop you will taste at least five local specialty beers that have been carefully selected.
In small groups you will prepare a delicious meal. Each group cooks one or two dishes so that we get a complete menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. We end the cooking workshop with coffee or tea from the fire.
The cooking workshops are interactive and informal, making them ideal for team, friends and family outings!
